The National Universities Brass Band forms once again this August Bank Holiday weekend for a Free Concert Series in Sheffield.
The UniBrass Foundation is delighted to announce that the class of Band Camp 2024, the National Universities Brass Band, will be showcasing their hard work at three free performances across Sheffield this August bank holiday weekend.
Thomas Chambers Newton Memorial Hall, Chapeltown
When? Friday 23rd August. Doors open 5pm, Concert 5:30-6:30pm (no interval)
What? The concert series kicks off with an informal afternoon of music to suit all tastes. Audience members will enjoy the first outing of the band’s repertoire at the Thomas Chambers Newton Memorial Hall in Chapeltown. All in attendance are welcome to join us for refreshments after the concert.

Tudor Square, Sheffield City Centre
When? Saturday 24th August 2-3pm
What? The band travels to Sheffield City Centre for a Saturday afternoon performance at Tudor Square. City centre locals and visitors alike are invited to stop by for a relaxed outdoor concert - stay for one piece, or stay for them all!
Ticketing: Free. No tickets required. Donations welcome.
Sheffield Cathedral
When? Monday 26th August. Doors open 2:30pm, Concert 3-5pm (with interval)
What? The series rounds off with a spectacular finale in the stunning Sheffield Cathedral. The band’s hard work over the week will come to a crescendo as they showcase their musical prowess across a full concert repertoire.
